About Us
Centro Legal is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable legal services in family law and criminal law.

Our office is located on Milwaukee’s south side and our five attorneys represent clients in cases in Milwaukee County courts. We help low-income families who need assistance accessing the justice system. If you need help with your legal case, click here.
Centro Legal serves low income clients from all of Milwaukee County. Our client base is 40 percent Hispanic, 30 percent Caucasian, 24% African American, 5% Asian and 1% other. Our bilingual staff can serve Spanish-speaking clients and we are experienced working with interpreters to serve clients who speak Hmong, Russian, and other languages.
Sixty-nine percent of our clients have household incomes under 125 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and nearly all clients have household incomes under 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
